I was witness to that Mod/Skins/Punk scooter club movement in the early 80's that was so unique to Northern towns .. we listened to 60's Ska, 2Tone, Punk, and Northern Soul .. we went to gigs and fought against the NF as S.H.A.R.P skins. We didn't have any money and we dressed ourselves in army surplus and hand-me-downs, we we're inked, kept our Docs shiny and our heads shaved.
