I was wondering if it gives you routes besides highways. If you use it for your scooter does it still show you to take the highway? I know that on the Garmin in Canada I could turn off the highways and got more regular roads. This would still not give the right routes for scooters but pretty close I guess.
Anyone?

My first generation Tomtom Rider suffered from a serious design flaw. After several months, the electrical contacts on the back of the unit became pitted from the constant vibration. At first the unit would power cycle on and off randomly. Finally the unit would not charge via the cradle. Unfortunately, this happen while on a 500 mile road trip. I did not have the use of my Tomtom for the last 250 miles! When I called Tomtom support, they offered to swap my unit out for a Tomtom Rider version 2 at no cost! Now that is customer service if you ask me. I have not had any problems with the new unit.
