After looking at the Segway Alternative last friday it seems that these one wheeled scooters are starting to become really popular. The video is from Arizona in the United States. It was created by Chris Coleman a sculptor who was interested in creating what he called a “Self Balancing Skateboard” but I prefer the One Wheeled scooter.

As the picture below shows - the actual design is very simple. Most of the hard work is done by the Arduino micro-controller (the green thing with wires popping out of it.)
