google sym hd 200 service manual, (it is an australian scooter site) after you down load the manual it will ask you if you want to add the chinese update,
click yes and it will download and give you the entire manual, all in english

I just downloaded the SYM HD200 service manual PDF, and have noticed that several key pages are blank, such as the page indicating the Periodical Maintenance Schedule (p. 2-2), Valve Clearance (p. 2-5), Carbeurator Idle Speed Adjustment (p. 2-6). Do you have any idea what the content of these pages might be? Or where else I might find a PDF that is more complete? Thanks very much!

I Just bought a used HD200 after testing a Honda reflex. The HD200 kicks over it and is more stable on the Highway!! The HD200 is fast off the start and is fast & smooth from 0 – 60 with a bit a time before it hits 70, but I’m 5-11 and 220 lbs. The Reflex starts slow and lags between 30-40 and is a slow build up to top speed. Also the Reflex’s smaller wheels and front “gull-wing” make for shaky/scary highway travel – plus the Reflex is a freaking boat and IHMO not a scooter smile ride – it was just too bulky to feel “scootery” and felt like I was riding a reclining sofa not a scooter. I LOVE the HD200!!!

I’m picking mine up on Saturday. Went for a test ride, was very much digging it. Question: Anyone know what cover would fit this scoot?? I park on the street, and need protection for it.

Would you recommend the KD200? I was looking at the Vespa GTS200 but it is too heavy. I am looking for a fast bike that is not too heavy to handle for a woman, that is not too old fashioned either. Just having a late life crisis and want to return to my youth!.

@Mike – Actually, the SYM HD200 has a 171cc sized engine. It puts out incredible performance for was it is. In addition to the good points you mentioned, it has a one-piece head for better heat distribution and strength. Also, the headlights are high quality 55-60 watt bulbs (as opposed to the normal 35W), the same paint/process that Mercedes-Benz uses.

The others are right, the HD200 compares closer to other 250′s in performance; actually, the HD125 has slighty more hp than the Kymco People 200S. Also, an HD200 won the scooter cannonball race last summer.

I also just got a SYM HD200 have not ridden anything with two
wheels for a good number of years. Seems like a great machine at least so far. I would like to know what windshield you added, and how did you do it.
