A friend just returned from Europe and the middle east with a couple of shipping containers full of vintage motorcycles and parts. Including two 1981 Vespa PX200 E scoots. One has 4 kilometers on the odometer and the other 10. These have never been ridden and still have plastic covering the fender trim. He needed a place to store them, so I have them in my garage now. No titles, just a bill of sale from UAE. What should I offer him for one? I’ll have to go through the hassle of getting a title (and I am not sure if that will be easy or not). I want to offer a fair price, but I also want to get a deal. What would you offer? I am pretty familiar with vintage Triumphs and BSAs, but Vespa s are new territory. I can’t wait to put on my Davida and take it for a ride.

Hi,

I’m having trouble finding out what the carb settings should be on my Vespa. I can’t seem to find any info on the model. According to the logbook the model is a 125 FL Elestart (year 1990 I believe). The VIN number is really strange, all it has is “125C00161″. The carb is a Dellorto SHBC 20L. Can anyone help with this?
